We’ve been hard at work making the next Beer and Business event happen and it’s finally right around the corner. We’ve decided to tweak the format slightly this time around which will hopefully make the event more fun and valuable for all.
First off, I want to thank Hawaii Business Magazine. They’ve generously agreed to sponsor the next Beer and Business event. As before, HiBEAM is also sponsoring and making this event possible. Now we’re going to be able to offer a couple of free drinks per guest. A very big thank you to both of them for their support. I especially want to thank Rachel Ogdie, the Executive Director of HiBEAM, for everything she’s done to make Beer and Business possible from day one.
We’re also changing up the format slightly. This time around we’ll have two companies making 5 minute presentations showcasing their experience in Hawaii. So far we have Laurent Scallie, CEO of Atlantis Cyberspace, confirmed. He’ll be talking about his experience in Hawaii running a company that provides the military with virtual combat simulation technology. The second presenting company will be announced shortly.
After presentations we’ll open up the stage for anyone to get up and talk for 60 seconds about anything they want. You got something to say, say it!
This Beer and Business will be downtown at ThirtyNine Hotel (yes, that’s also the address) on Thursday, November 15th, from 530 to 800 pm. Send any questions you have to fun - at - beerandbusiness.com.
See you there!
Beer and Business Nights are devoted to bringing together the Hawaii business community in a casual environment. We'd like to help local entrepreneurs, executives, and investors get to know each other over good drinks and good conversation.
